The Lanesborough

Development  –  Design

One of the world’s most luxurious hotels. EADL redesigned the spectacular Grade II* listed building - The Lanesborough hotel in the heart of London.

The Lanesborough has become an excellent example of neoclassical design and décor. EADL was heavily involved in the original conversion, including concept design, FF&E, development, and procurement, including continuing with the project to completion. It is located between Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Mayfair. With 93 guest rooms and 43 suites including the Royal Suite (that extends to 7 bedrooms). Furniture, chandeliers, draperies and fabrics were copied from 1820s and 1830s original museum pieces as well as from prints and information from historic archives. No two rooms are exactly the same. The hotel was closed for renovation in December 2013 and re-opened in 2015.
